Its our Star Trek special. We cover the news of the video gaming week, including the demise of 3D Realms, and then we go straight into arguably the biggest geek film of 2009, JJ Abram’s Star Trek reboot. Does it boldly go into new territory, or is it a bit of a Gorn?

Delayed till tomorrow

We’ve delayed the podcast till tomorrow. Sorry about that, but circumstances were out of our hands today. We’ll be recording tomorrow evening and releasing afterwards. We’ll also be dedicating the podcast to the new Star Trek movie. Myself and Marko have avoided absolutely any conversation about it, as we want the podcast to be as fresh and fly as possible.

The podcast will be filled with spoilers, so you have been warned!!

Episode 12 – 2009 games we look forward to

Starcraft 2

The main discussion this week involves the games to come in 2009, talking about the games we are looking forward to. No suprises which game seems to come out on top considering the Children of the 1980’s that we are. We also talk about the TV shows that you should take a look at whilst you are having a break from your gaming, and cover the latest news in video gaming, including the next video game movie to suffer a delay in production, and a release date for Champions Online.

Episode 9 : What makes or breaks a video game for you?

Broken XBOX Disc

The news this week was nothing short of drab. Its a pretty terrible week. So we try and get the best that we can out of that, introduce our first browser game worth playing, talk about the new Nintendo DSi, which we have at SoG Towers, and we discuss what makes or breaks a video game for you…

Sorry for the days delay. It was completely my fault… well blame Codemasters for not having a decent download system for Lord of The Rings Online! 26 hours it took to download it. Jeez. – Paul.
